The Tinsmith’s Wife’s primary goal is to provide inspiration for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and cross stitch by providing a fantastic array of beautiful fibers, patterns, accessories, and canvases. For knitting and crocheting, we pride ourselves in focusing on an eclectic and broad collection of independent dyers along with yarn from larger companies as well.
If you have not been to The Tinsmith’s Wife yet, we encourage you to bring your current project and join us for a morning or an afternoon. There are several comfy spots to sit (next to a cat), and there is always laughter, inspiration, and new ideas on what to create. We hope to make you feel a part of our family. We are delighted to be found in Comfort, which is a great town filled with antique shops, places to eat, wineries, and a sense of stepping back in time.
Our regular shop hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 12 – 5 pm.
